Job summary

Foth is seeking a Lead Packaging Designer to provide technical leadership in designing and integrating packaging systems for industrial clients, especially in the food and beverage sector. The role offers remote work flexibility with a preference for Green Bay, WI, and occasional travel.

You will mentor engineers and designers, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and support equipment installations, startups, and field issues while managing several projects with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent; required.
• Minimum 7 years of CAD design experience.
• Experience with conveyor layout design.
• Proficient with 2D and 3D CAD software for equipment integration and system design.
• Experience designing packaging systems for industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in the design and integration of packaging systems for industrial applications, particularly food and beverage.
• Develop and update CAD layouts for packaging systems and equipment integration.
• Coordinate drawing management activities and communicate with clients.
• Mentor and guide junior designers within the packaging systems discipline.
• Travel to client sites approximately 10–20% annually.
