Job summary

Amazon is seeking a leader with procurement and sustainability experience to drive a strategy to reduce scope 3 emissions globally for Global Customer Fulfillment. The role collaborates with multiple teams and suppliers to hit ambitious packaging decarbonization goals, with travel up to 20%.

The candidate will own program strategy from end to end, manage data-driven metrics, and present results to senior leadership, aligning with budgets and cost-saving targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in program or project management.
• Experience in supply chain.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience leading process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead vision, roadmap, and strategy to decarbonize Packaging scope 3 emissions.
• Develop mechanisms/tools to track historical records, forecasts, and data fidelity of carbon footprint.
• Collaborate with Category leaders to analyze footprint and build decarbonization strategy.
• Set and track carbon intensity reduction goals annually and long-term.
• Prepare narratives and briefs for executives on the carbon program.
• Drive decarbonization roadmaps to pilot lower carbon solutions.
• Act as liaison for carbon across Procurement.
