Job summary

Amazon is seeking a leader in procurement and sustainability to drive the strategy to reduce global scope 3 emissions for Global Customer Fulfillment, focusing on Packaging. The role collaborates across teams and with key suppliers to execute a robust supplier strategy aligned with ambitious decarbonization goals.

The candidate will own roadmap development, track carbon metrics, and present briefs to executives while coordinating with procurement to implement lower-carbon solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in program or project management.
• Experience in supply chain.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Is the chief architect for the vision, roadmap, and strategy to deliver our net zero carbon footprint across all Packaging scope 3 emissions.
• Responsible for mechanisms and tools to track historical records and improve data fidelity of carbon footprint.
• Work with Category leaders to analyze footprint and develop decarbonization strategy for Packaging.
• Leads setting and tracking carbon intensity reduction goals on an annual and long-term basis.
• Independently drives narratives and briefs for executives on the carbon program.
