Job summary

Amazon is seeking a leader with procurement and sustainability experience to drive the strategy to reduce scope 3 emissions globally for Global Customer Fulfillment. The role collaborates with multiple teams and suppliers to set and execute the packaging decarbonization program.

You will own the vision, create roadmaps, track carbon metrics, and report to senior leadership. Travel up to 20% is required, with a focus on delivering measurable cost savings and sustainable supplier engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in program or project management
• Experience in supply chain
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Chief architect for the vision, roadmap, and strategy to deliver net zero carbon across Packaging scope 3 emissions
• Responsible for mechanisms and tools to track historical records, build forecasts, and improve data fidelity of WWGS’s carbon footprint
• Works with Category leaders to analyze our current footprint postion and develop a short-and-long term decarbonization strategy for Packaging
• Leads setting and tracking WWGS’s carbon intensity reduction goals on an annual and long-term basis to get alignment across executives
• Independently drives narratives and briefs for executives on the carbon program
• Drives tactical decarbonization roadmaps to pilot and implement lower carbon solutions
• Key lead and liaison for carbon across our Procurement organization
