Qualifications

• Thirty (30) days on-the-job training under direct supervision is required.
• Additional training requirements will be determined as needed during annual performance evaluation.
• Successful completion of Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT) training for PIT utilized in specific areas as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean workstation and follow all safety requirements.
• Supervise and direct personnel on shift in performing operations according to company policies and procedures.
• Review daily production schedules for the department to plan work and personnel assignments to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate with Human Resources and department manager any actions or issues regarding hiring, compensation, leave of absence, medical restrictions, harassment, coaching, counseling and/or disciplining of employees.
• Conduct probationary and annual performance reviews with department manager to ensure development and effectiveness of employees.
• Perform administrative functions such as timekeeping, recordkeeping and paperwork correctly and in a timely manner.
