Job summary

Workwear Outfitters in Nashville, Tennessee, seeks a Distribution Supervisor to lead the 1st shift in the Distribution Center, drive production efficiency, quality, and cost control.

You will train and counsel associates, monitor workflow, ensure safety and policy adherence, and meet service requirements while processing orders. Strong communication, Excel skills, and prior supervisory experience in manufacturing or distribution are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years’ experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
• Previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Strong communication skills (oral, written - fluent in English).

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned associates in the Distribution Center on the 1st shift to achieve maximum production, quality, and cost control.
• Monitor the flow of production, provide training and counseling, resolve issues, create production reports, and track attendance.
• Ensure safety standards, quality of work, and company policies are maintained, while processing assigned orders within shipping requirements.
• Support internal and external customers by meeting service requirements and expectations.
• Communicate with all levels of personnel and be trained on various tasks to fill in where needed.
