RRD Company is seeking a design-focused professional to help shape packaging and visual communication from concept through production. You will create packaging designs, mock-ups and three-dimensional drawings, coordinating with teams and vendors to ensure manufacturability and quality.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and technical software skills, with extensive experience in packaging design environments. Base compensation is competitive with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in discipline related to the role and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to solve somewhat more complex problems by analyzing variables and applying solutions.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of customers and co-workers to resolve issues.
• Strong computer knowledge with Windows/Mac and specialized software as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the design phase from objectives analysis to production while meeting criteria and expectations.
• Creates designs and copy layouts for packaging, advertising, and sales support.
• Translates customer information into creative structural design solutions considering manufacturability.
• Prepares finished digital art and high-resolution files.
• Manages prototypes and digital files through design to production and placement.
• Coordinates with outside agencies, art services, printers, and others to complete projects.
• Enhances existing concepts or designs and participates in special projects.
