Job summary

New Weds Foods is seeking a packaging associate to support customer orders by stacking products at the end of packaging lines and rotating to other line positions as needed. This role requires standing and physical activity, with lifting up to 55 lbs and occasional heavier lifting for dumping up to 100 lbs.

You will verify labels, assist in inventory, and maintain sanitation and safety standards. Work is performed in our warehouse and production areas; you will follow GMP and LOTO protocols and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year packaging experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment including standup forklift and load move system.

Responsibilities

• Verifies product being bagged against labels.
• Verifies batch with Supervisor as needed.
• Affixes labels to bags and stacks them onto pallets while maintaining packaging line standards.
• Continuously pulls / lifts and carries bags weighing up to 55 lbs.
• Assists in bagging and dumping of product with up to 100 lbs pushing/pulling.
• Completes paperwork as needed.
• Maintains product integrity and sanitation; follows GMP and LOTO procedures.
• Assists in inventory and cycle counts.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
