New Weds Foods in Modesto, CA is looking for a packaging associate to support efficient packing lines by stacking product and rotating to other positions as needed, ensuring accuracy and productivity on the line.

Responsibilities include verifying bags against printed labels, affixing labels, and neatly stacking on pallets, while lifting up to 55 lbs repeatedly and assisting with bagging or dumping up to 100+ lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year packaging experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including standup forklift and load move system.

Responsibilities

• Verifies product being bagged against labels being printed.
• Verifies batch with Supervisor as needed.
• Affixes labels to bags and neatly stacks them onto pallet while maintaining packaging line standards.
• Continuous pulling / lifting and carrying of bags weighing up to 55 lbs.
• Assist in bagging of product as needed; push/pull up to 55+ lbs; maintain packaging standards.
• Assist in dumping of product; push/pull up to 100+ lbs.
• Completes paperwork as needed.
• Maintain integrity of product.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts.
• Keep area and equipment clean; follow LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Follow good manufacturing practices and safety rules.
