Job summary

New Weds Foods is seeking a First Shift Manufacturing Associate to support packaging lines by stacking product and rotating to other packline positions as needed.

The role involves essential packaging tasks, verifying labels and batches, and maintaining quality and safety in a warehouse environment, with lifting up to 55 lbs, occasional 100+ lbs, and routine paperwork. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year packaging experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency operating stand-up forklift and load move system.

Responsibilities

• Verify product being bagged against labels being printed.
• Verify batch with Supervisor as needed.
• Affix labels to bags and neatly stack them onto pallet while maintaining packaging line standards.
• Continuous pulling / lifting and carrying of bags weighing up to 55 lbs.
• Assist in bagging of product as needed; push/pull up to 55+ lbs; maintain packaging standards.
• Assist in dumping of product as needed; push/pull up to 100+ lbs.
• Complete paperwork as needed.
• Maintain integrity of product.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts.
• Keep area and equipment clean; follow LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor; follow safety rules.
