Job summary

General Formulations is seeking a dependable packaging aide to support the Slitter Operator. You will prepare skids, boxes and labels, and ensure accurate boxing and labeling of rolls produced during the shift.

Attention to detail and safety are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include maintaining packaging supplies, coordinating with operators, and assisting with core loading and splicing when time allows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Willingness to work in hot/cold climates and noisy environments.
• Experience in packaging or warehouse roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare skids, boxes, and labels for orders scheduled for the shift.
• Box, label, and skid rolls correctly to ensure proper packaging.
• Monitor rolls for kick out/ mill ends and prevent incorrect shipments.
• Move finished skids to wrapper or finishing area using pallet jack.
• Assist operator with loading cores and splicing bulk rolls when time permits.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow PPE and LOTO rules.
