Job summary

DePalo Foods is seeking a Packaging Associate to move finished goods from the oven room through blast freezer to the final pack line. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, ensuring accurate labeling, proper packaging, and timely production.

Responsibilities include packing, inspection, labeling, and documentation, with safety and cleanliness at the forefront. Previous packaging experience is a plus, and bilingual English/Spanish is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Attention to Detail: High level accuracy with inspection of products, verification of proper labels, and correct packaging/cases.
• Physical Requirements: Stand for 8–12 hour shifts, walk, bend, kneel, lift under 50 lbs.
• Fast-Paced Capability: Keep up with production lines reaching 96–106 units per minute.
• Communication & Teamwork: Work well within a team and report issues to management.
• Bilingual: English & Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Packing and Assembly: pack finished goods into boxes according to company specifications.
• Quality Inspection: Visually inspect products for defects, quality standards, proper labeling, and accurate coding.
• Labeling and Documentation: Weigh, seal, and label containers with shipping information.
• Production Line Support: Work efficiently to meet daily production quotas, often on an assembly line.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Equipment Operation: Safely run packing equipment such as tape guns, denester, shrink-wrappers, carton stackers, and film applicators.
• Material Handling: Move finished goods to storage or shipping.
• Other: Perform other duties as requested by management.
