Job summary

Graham Packaging seeks a Packaging Specialist in Findlay, Ohio for the day shift (5:54 a.m.–6:00 p.m.) on a 2/2/3 schedule, working every other weekend. The role involves packing finished products, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The position offers weekly pay starting at $20.60 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match benefits effective on day one. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Communicates effectively and collaborates with others to achieve group objectives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping of the production area and assist in packing finished product.
• Follow safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Inspect for defects and follow packing instructions.
• Notify supervisor of potential problems with product or machinery.
• Assist in training regular and temporary workforce.
• Keep work area clean, orderly and safe.
