Job summary
Monster Energy in Corona, CA seeks a Quality Control Packaging Lab Manager to lead testing, evaluation, and validation of packaging systems, ensuring safe, audit-ready operations. You will manage lab personnel, drive capability, maintain health and safety compliance, and oversee method validation, data analysis, and reporting to support packaging integrity across products.
A Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years in QA, plus experience with beverage packaging, are preferred; SAP/SharePoint
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Packaging Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
- Experience with SAP, SmartSheet, Excel/Word, SharePoint and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Lead packaging quality lab team and manage staff and training.
- Oversee routine packaging quality and integrity testing.
- Conduct technical investigations into defects and complaints.
- Expand laboratory capabilities with new methods and equipment.
- Analyze data, report findings, and advise leadership.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and calibration programs.
