Job summary

Jobtailor in Marion, OH is seeking entry-level inspectors to join our packaging line. You will arrive before shift, inspect cartons, and help keep the work area clean and organized.

No experience is required as training is provided. You will collaborate with machine operators to identify non-conforming products and ensure smooth start-ups. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and attention to detail to maintain quality standards on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No experience, no problem! We will train you!
• No high school diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the machine before shift start.
• Inspect cartons and pack them into a box or bag.
• Notify the operator/Supervisor of non-conforming products.
• One of the general inspectors should move to the outfeed of the machine when the machine goes down to prepare for start-up.
• Reclaim should be worked on by one of the general inspectors each time every machine goes down (even just a couple of bags make a difference).
• Help with daily cleaning (sweeping, mopping, and organizing).
• Pick up bags from the floor and put them in the proper place.
• Check for excess glue.
• Inspect and package material.
