Job summary

Jobtailor in Clayton, NC is seeking a Packaging Inspector to perform paced inspections of final container products, documenting tasks on the Batch Production Record and SOP forms, and to set up and operate packaging equipment.

You will inspect products for defects, count units before and after packaging, maintain department housekeeping, and comply with cGMP and safety policies; 1 year of pharma/biotech packaging inspection experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to maintain focus during packaging activities.
• Ability to identify product defects per SOPs and quality lexicon.
• Strong attention to safety and cGMP policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform paced inspections of final container products for defects across categories.
• Document tasks on Batch Production Records (BPR) or SOPs.
• Maintain department housekeeping at an optimal level.
• Adhere to cGMP and safety policies.
• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment; manually package products.
• Inspect packaged and pre-packaged products for defects.
• Accurately count pre- and post-packaged products.
• May load/unload products and operate material handling equipment.
