Job summary

Silgan Containers is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to assure finished goods meet customer expectations and packaging specifications. You will classify defects, alert operators, and verify packaging parameters while maintaining a clean, safe work environment on the production line.

In this full-time role, you will perform rework as needed and contribute to teamwork by assisting in housekeeping and line readiness during downtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
• Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet customer specifications.
• Identify and classify defects as critical, major, or minor and alert the operator.
• Verify packaging parameters against specifications sheets.
• Perform rework safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Support housekeeping and line readiness when downtime occurs.
