Job summary

Silgan Plastics Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to ensure finished goods meet customer standards and safety requirements. You will identify defects, verify packaging specs, and maintain a clean, safe work area across production lines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
• Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and classify typical defects; alert operators to issues.
• Verify specifications to ensure packaging parameters are met.
• Inspect work areas and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Assist with rework and clearance of jams; support downstream and grinders.
• Maintain housekeeping on and around machines and during downtime.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures and communicate hazards clearly.
