Job summary

Keystone Industries in Gibbstown, NJ is seeking a Packaging Quality Inspector I to join our quality team on the 2nd shift. You will inspect incoming materials for packaging lines and release in-process and final products in accordance with defined specifications.

The ideal candidate has experience in quality control, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office. A high school diploma is required, with an associates degree in science preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control/quality assurance is desired but not required.
• Able to teach testing and inspection methods to staff.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections and approve or reject incoming materials for packaging lines (bottles, caps, brushes, labels, boxes, etc.).
• Test in-process and final filled product and release acceptable product.
• Inspect and release equipment and process areas to ensure cleanliness and no contamination from previous batches.
• Maintain controls to protect products, labels and supplies from loss or contamination.
• Prepare and upload COA, COC and other related documents for sales and customers.
• Complete quality control documents and production records; maintain records and sample retentions.
