Job summary

Winpak Control Group in Norwood, NJ is seeking a Flexible Packaging Inspection Operator to join the Inspection Department. You will operate and monitor inspection equipment in a cGMP manufacturing environment to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance.

This full-time, onsite role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. You will log production data, inspect using camera systems, and report issues to supervisors and

Qualifications

• Must have strong visual acuity and color perception.
• Able to read, write and follow written specifications.
• Proficient with a tape measure and basic math.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, cGMP policies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down inspection equipment with proper safety systems.
• Read job specs, thread web material, manage web tension, and verify rewind configurations.
• Perform visual inspections using camera systems; identify and report defects to Shift Supervisor/QA.
• Log production data, including setup, run time, and disturbances, into systems.
• Move finished rolls to designated locations and maintain production documentation.
• Maintain clean GMP-compliant work area and proper waste disposal; hygiene compliance.
• Communicate production needs and quality issues to supervisors and management.
