Job summary

Silgan Containers is hiring a quality inspector to ensure finished goods meet customer specifications and safety standards in a fast-paced packaging operation. You will inspect products, document defects, verify packaging parameters against specs, and coordinate with operators to address issues, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and supporting team tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
• Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished goods to ensure compliance with customer specifications and safety standards.
• Identify and classify defects (critical/major/minor) and alert the Operator to address them.
• Verify packaging parameters against specifications and document results.
• Perform rework as required and maintain clean, safe working areas.
• Assist Maintenance and Operators; support housekeeping and line sanitation.
• Promote teamwork and assist with line activities as needed.
