Job summary

Premier Packaging is seeking a Quality & Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead quality and compliance at our Rancho Cucamonga corrugated box plant. You will partner with site leadership to drive product quality, safety, and environmental programs, aligning site performance with corporate standards and continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires a background in engineering/quality/safety, 3+ years in manufacturing, knowledge of OSHA and ISO standards, and experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in quality or EH&S.
3+ years in a manufacturing environment (corrugated/packaging preferred).
Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
Experience with standardized corporate quality systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and basic data analysis tools.
Strong written and verbal communication with leadership interfaces.
Familiarity with Lean, continuous improvement, and ISO standards.
Experience using a network-based QMS/EHS system.

Responsibilities

Quality & Continuous Improvement: partner with Site Manager to balance priorities with corporate requirements.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations and Corporate EH&S teams.
Support quality activities across converting operations.
Monitor and report key quality performance metrics.
Lead corrective and preventive actions using root cause analysis.
Investigate defects and customer complaints.
Support customer needs related to quality incidents.
EHS: monitor safety and environmental policy execution and regulatory compliance.
Promote a safety-first culture and lead safety inspections/audits.
Ensure proper chemical handling and waste management; support training.
