Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a hands-on on-site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for our St. Charles, IL facility. You will partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to ensure safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, familiarity with plastics processing, and the ability to drive a safety-first culture. Spanish fluency is a preferred qualification for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in plastics/injection molding or industrial manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a proactive safety culture and lead regulatory compliance programs.
• Lead environmental programs including air, wastewater, and waste management and permit handling.
• Develop and deliver safety training, onboarding, and ongoing education.
• Identify hazards with operations and drive risk reduction and continuous improvement.
• Manage emergency preparedness, drills, and response coordination.
• Serve as primary point of contact with regulatory agencies and external partners.
