Job summary

Bunzl Safety in Piperton, TN is hiring a Production Worker to assemble boxes and alter products, learning procedures aligned with company objectives. Responsibilities include labeling, packing, and ensuring quality and on-time shipments within the VAS department.

The position supports a Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm schedule, with potential overtime. Strong reading/writing skills and the ability to follow directions are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a Production environment.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Read and write legibly.
• Capable of standing, and sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform labeling, bagging, boxing and prepare finished goods for shipping of the Value Added Services (VAS) department
• Ensure that all products produced in the VAS department are free of defects and produced according to QC procedures.
• Confirm inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA standards.
