Job summary

Bunzl Safety in Piperton, TN is hiring a Production Worker to assemble boxes and modify products, ensuring quality and quantity while learning procedures and following safety guidelines.

Hours are Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with about 1 year of production experience; overtime may be required. Bunzl offers Medical/Dental/Vision from day 30, PTO, 401K with company match, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate materials handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area and follow OSHA standards.

Description

Bunzl Safety is seeking a production worker for our facility in Piperton, TN. The Production Worker will assemble boxes or make alterations to various product. The Production Associate is responsible for learning proper procedures and product information required to perform the job in a manner consistent to company objectives. The Production Associate assures the quality, and quantity of the product produced.

Hours for this position are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform labeling, bagging, boxing and prepare finished goods for shipping of the Value Added Services (VAS) department
• Ensure that all products produced in the VAS department are free of defects and produced according to QC procedures.
• Confirm inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a Production environment.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Read and write legibly.
• Capable of standing, and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Ability to follow directions.
