The Topeka Plant of J.M. Smucker is seeking a Dry Packaging Technician, Team A to operate in production and packaging areas with a focus on safety and quality. You will follow GMPs, participate in a fast-paced environment, and support fellow team members while maintaining equipment and assisting with mechanical tasks.

Strong problem-solving skills, reliability for 12-hour shifts, and a proactive, collaborative attitude are essential requirements for this role at our Topeka facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to report to work on time and work the entire scheduled shift. Timely attendance is required.
• Must be able to successfully handle and manage stress.
• Accustomed to and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
• Must be flexible and able to work additional hours as workload requires.
• Consummate team player who shares and helps others.
• Must supply your own hand tools.

Responsabilités

• Follow all Safety Rules and GMPs.
• Produce high quality products safely.
• Attend and be present for assigned shift.
• Work in all production/packaging areas as assigned around machinery.
• Work as part of a team and assist fellow employees.
• Fix mechanical issues such as replacing cylinders, bearings, belts, or pulleys.
