Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 1st shift to lead the packaging department and oversee all manufacturing activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, inventory yield, and cost objectives.

You will guide staff training, ensure proper documentation, and collaborate with other shifts and management to maintain a capable workforce and high performance, while driving continuous improvement and cost controls.

Qualifications

• High School/GED
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing setting
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and manage performance
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across multiple functions

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the packaging department to meet safety, quality, and output goals.
• Provide guidance for staff training and development.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Improve throughput and control costs.
