Job summary

Primal Pet Foods in Abilene, TX is seeking a production assistant to perform daily operations in our facility. You will prepare products, package items, apply labels, and inspect finished goods to meet quality standards. You will rotate between machines and stations to support efficient operations.

Eligible candidates will be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds, standing for long periods, and complying with safety and QA procedures. Overtime and daily shift flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; at least 3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read a limited number of words and basic numbers; follow simple instructions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Startup and stop equipment.
• Assist with production and packaging finished products.
• Cleans production area and maintains housekeeping.
• Move product and materials to appropriate areas following QA procedures.
• Record data and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
