Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering or Operations Management preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience required; packaging experience preferred.
• Experience in Lean environments; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification beneficial.
• Proven experience in operations, manufacturing or supply chain.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Proven track record of problem-solving.
• Ability to embrace continuous improvement.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork across functions.
• Ability to coach and train employees.
• Ability to troubleshoot process and maintenance issues on shift.
• Ability to make independent, effective decisions.

Responsabilités

• Manage manufacturing employees including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Improve safety, environmental and health of the facility.
• Oversee day-to-day shift operations with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Monitor production activities to meet KPIs and schedules.
• Collaborate to improve efficiency, reduce overtime, downtime and repair costs.
• Control load factors and optimize capacity utilization.
• Lead safety briefs for designated shifts and ensure safe work practices.
• Maintain plant safety and encourage safety-conscious behavior.
• Track daily production goals for converting machines and report results.
• Plan workforce staffing and manage attendance policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet production needs.
• Promote positive employee relations and cross-team collaboration.
• Oversee daily production activities and monitor team performance.
• Engage in Daily Management Systems to drive performance.
