Job summary

Danone U.S. is hiring a Production Intern in West Jordan, UT to support the Packaging department in a yogurt manufacturing facility. You will supervise daily production, manage schedule changes, and train operators while ensuring SOPs, QARs, and plant rules are followed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and the deployment of IWS pillars to drive safety, quality, and cost delivery. Base compensation is $25.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior, Senior, or recent graduate of an Engineering or similar degree program with an interest in the Food and Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.
• Previous work experience in food manufacturing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead operators on the production floor, driving improvements and efficiencies.
• Own the assigned area of the production floor and push for improvements.
• Collaborate with managers and operators to drive improvements.
• Improve changeover and CIP processes.
• Conduct time studies and execute operational efficiency improvements for packaging lines.
• Lead a team of machine operators and mechanics.
• Develop root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone) to align performance with goals.
• Create SOPs for new processes and procedures.
