Job summary

Danone North America is hiring a Quality Intern based in West Jordan, UT. You will support the Quality department by building a knowledge base, researching technologies to combat microorganisms, and helping implement quality improvements.

The role emphasizes understanding production operations and collaborating across teams to increase efficiency. You will engage in data-driven projects, learn IWS standards, and contribute to the plant’s safety, quality, and cost goals while supporting a 24/7

Qualifications

• Must be a junior, senior, or recent graduate in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Food Chemistry or similar degree.
• Previous work in food manufacturing is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and/or lead research and improvement projects related to department goals.
• Engage current workforce through activities like job shadowing to meet project goals.
• Present project findings and proposals to peers and plant leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
