Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Production Intern for our West Jordan, UT yogurt manufacturing facility. You will supervise daily production in the packaging area, support schedule changes, and help implement new processes while training operators and ensuring adherence to SOPs and standards.

The role requires being a junior, senior, or recent graduate in an engineering or related program, with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior, Senior, or recent graduate of an Engineering or similar degree program.
• Previous work experience in food manufacturing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for operators on the production floor.
• Own assigned area of the production floor and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with managers and operators to improve processes.
• Support changeover and CIP process improvements.
• Conduct time studies and implement operational efficiency improvements for packaging lines.
• Lead a team of machine operators and mechanics.
• Develop root cause analyses (5-Why, Fishbone) to align performance with goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement and create SOPs for new processes.
