Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Packaging Production Designer to support production for first party packaging across Wearables and VR products. You will take approved concepts through production, building layouts, reviewing proofs, and ensuring consistency as SKUs grow.

This is a 12-month contract on site in San Francisco, CA, requiring strong production art skills and experience with dielines and print-ready packaging for offshore vendors. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Deep production art skills using Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
• Experience preparing print-ready packaging files for offshore vendors.
• Detail-obsessed and fast on turnarounds, comfortable with late changes.
• Can work independently across multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Build and revise packaging layouts from approved dielines and design direction.
• Build detailed packaging guidelines for external vendors.
• Review vendor proofs and mark up corrections through final approval.
• Run copy-fit checks across locales and flag issues before vendor.
• Maintain consistency across all layouts: type, logo, legal marks, iconography.
• Coordinate with production, legal, localization to resolve file questions.
• Keep file organization and version control during handoff between teams.
