Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience leading teams in manufacturing or production.
• Basic computer skills to use ERP system.
• Ability to communicate effectively with plant staff.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and participate in root-cause analysis.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift license.
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the daily operations of the production or packaging lines, leading the team to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow.
• Provide consistent support to the Operations Supervisor, maintaining seamless communication throughout the shift.
• Ensure proper functioning of production and packaging equipment and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and collaborate with maintenance teams to address issues.
• Oversee day-to-day line activities to meet production goals.
• Ensure adherence to Sara Lee Frozen Bakery’s standards and regulatory requirements (FDA, QC).
• Support routine regulatory checks and maintain proper documentation.
• Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and other supervisors to optimize line performance and resolve problems.
• Assist in training new and existing production associates on equipment, safety, and standards.
• Promote safety by enforcing PPE and LOTO procedures and identifying hazards.
• Contribute to lean improvements (5S, OIFs) and process enhancements for productivity and quality.
• Other duties as assigned and coordinate team rotations and breaks.
