Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery in Tarboro, NC is seeking dependable team members for production support in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will perform cleaning, equipment setup, and routine operations to keep lines running safely and efficiently, with a focus on quality and sanitation.

Qualified applicants will lift up to 50 lbs, work 8–12 hour shifts, wear PPE, and follow instructions to operate and maintain sanitation equipment.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be willing to use simple tools.
• Must be willing to be trained to operate sanitation equipment.
• Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs and work in PPE.
• Must be willing to work 8–12 hour shifts in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment and work areas to prevent contamination.
• Disassembles and reassembles pumps, pipes for cleaning.
• Preflight equipment prior to production use.
• Lubricates production equipment as required.
• Works with others to minimize downtime and ensure line readiness.
• Completes paperwork such as crew sheets and downtime reports.
• Adheres to SLFB policies and GMP standards.
• Cross-trains in other areas as needed.
