Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking a meticulous Prepress Technician to join our packaging and label production team in Twinsburg, Ohio. You will prepare artwork for print, conduct preflight checks, and produce production-ready files with industry software and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of prepress experience, a Graphic Design degree, and strong skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, ArtPro+, color management, and RIP workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of prepress experience, preferably in packaging/printing.
• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Packaging Technology, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of print production, file preparation, and imposition.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, ArtPro+, and RIP-based workflows.
• Knowledge of color management and proofing workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot artwork and production issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate customer artwork for print production.
• Perform preflight inspections and resolve file issues before production.
• Create working files and impose files for the plate-making process.
• RIP files for proofing and final production output.
• Produce and inspect digital proofs for customer approval.
• Prepare files for imposition and production.
• Archive and retrieve production files using automated archival software.
• Coordinate with designers and production teams to resolve artwork issues.
