Job summary

Olberding Brand Family in Cincinnati is seeking a Production Artist to translate designer comps into press-ready files, creating mechanicals and preparing production-ready artwork. You’ll manage preflight, proofs, layout, and color adjustments while coordinating with internal teams and clients.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and knowledge of major printing methods are required.

Qualifications

• Experience translating artwork into press-ready files.
• Understanding of major printing methods.
• Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Able to proofread and ensure file accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create production art from designer comps for CP G client jobs.
• Preflight, typesetting, image placement, layout, color adaptation.
• Adjust artwork to meet production requirements.
• Output production proofs for customer approval.
• Design files for press with marks and color correction.
• Make judgments in graphic assembly to meet press specs.
• Maintain calibration, profiling and workflow procedures.
• Proofread all customer proofs and final files.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across orders.
