Job summary

A&E Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Electrician embedded at a client site in Charlotte, NC to perform general plant electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades of packaging equipment.

The role requires independence and teamwork, with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM dayshift, 4x10 rotation, and on-call duties, including weekend/holiday work. Candidates should have 2–5 years experience in manufacturing, associate degree or equivalent, and be able to work with 480V, 120V, and 24VDC,

Qualifications

Associate degree or high school diploma with relevant experience.
2–5 years troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electrical equipment.
Experience with machine automation and instrumentation troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and fix problems with packaging equipment such as palletizers and glue machines.
Troubleshoot valves or instrumentation holding a process.
Repair heat tracing on process piping.
Set up and commission instrumentation for flow, level, pressure, and temperature.
Perform electrical preventative maintenance on equipment.
Work with 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC; document work in SAP.
