Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a dependable Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on high-speed production line equipment in a can manufacturing environment. The role includes performing preventative maintenance, supporting food safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The position offers a full-time schedule with rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and weekend work, with overtime and potential double time after 48 hours.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Production Line Mechanic or Technician preferred.
• Experience with packaging equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of automation principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on high-speed production line equipment.
• Collaborate with Electrical staff to resolve electrical issues on packaging and processing equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance safely and cost-effectively.
