Job summary

DHL Supply Chain seeks a Packaging Operations Manager in the United States to lead packaging activities and drive continuous improvement. The role emphasizes GMP-aligned operations, safety, and cost control, with strong collaboration across engineering, production, and management teams.

Responsibilities include supervising packaging teams, coordinating production plans, and delivering timely reports on production, safety, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required or preferred.
• 3 years’ industry experience in primary/secondary packaging or manufacturing operations.
• 2–4 years’ supervisory/management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager and engineering team with financial, project, and monthly reporting.
• Manage supervisors to drive efficiency through production and planning.
• Communicate production plan/status via start-up and pacing meetings.
• Set up leadership development and Lean Manufacturing training for direct reports.
• Oversee production planning and ordering of supplies and equipment as needed.
• Provide reporting on production, safety, quality and other metrics.
