Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds when needed.
• Comfort with bending, twisting, and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operates a packer machine to bag and prepare product.
• Weighs bag to ensure proper weight.
• Prepares palletizer or packer machine for startup.
• Completes paperwork to generate production reports.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Reviews product for quality and appearance.
• Performs routine machine maintenance.
• Keeps area clean and tidy.
• Operates forklift or other mobile equipment as needed.
• Supports other operators to meet deadlines.
