Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking a forklift/operator assistant to support continuous production of insulated metal panels.

The role involves moving bundles with standard forklifts and a CombiLift, staging products for shipping, and coordinating with multiple stations to maintain efficiency and safety in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must handle heavy lifting, adhere to safety policies, and participate in training conducted by supervisory staff.

Qualifications

• Requires arithmetic proficiency including fractions
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure
• Proficiency with the metric measurement system
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Assist in production activities
• Assist in cleanup activities
• Assist in production changeovers
• Operate standard forklift and CombiLift to move bundles
• Move bundles between curing room, storage and outdoor yard
• Transport produced and inspected bundles to shipping yard
• Highlight bundles on Shipping BOMs for accuracy
• Inspect bundles from forklift for damage and report issues
• Stack bundles safely in shipping yard according to load dates and SOA numbers
• Communicate and coordinate with other stations and departments
• Keep work area organized and clean
• Complete training with Lead Operator/Foreman/Supervisor
• Perform other related duties as assigned
