Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Walker, MI is seeking a Logistics Operator for full-time work in our production facility. You will safely load insulated metal panels (7 to 60 feet) onto flat-bed and Conestoga trailers using a combi-lift, with forklifts as needed.

Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, loading/unloading trucks, and performing inventory checks with data entry. A high school diploma is required; forklift experience and teamwork are preferred.

Logistics Operator

Salary: $24.00 Annually

This role is responsible for safely and efficiently loading our insulated metal panels ranging from 7 foot to 60 feet long, onto flat-bed trailers and Conestoga trailers. The equipment used to do this is a combi-lift. Forklifts will also be utilized within the plant as well.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack customer orders as determined by Logistics Supervisor, in order to meet customer demands (both international and domestic).
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Perform inventory management assignments, including both ongoing and annual physical inventory tasks. This includes data entry in Falk’s system when required via a computer and/or scan gun.
• Maintain cleanliness of driving area
• Perform daily safety check on all PIT vehicles
• This role works inside the production facility, and outside in the parking lot loading trucks, year round.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have overall knowledge and understanding of outbound shipping timing and be able to prioritize duties accordingly.
• Must be extremely detail oriented and organized.
• Must be willing to cross-train to work in various departments and support capacities throughout the facility to maintain orderly and safe production and shipping goals.
• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere, assisting other areas as needed
• High school diploma, or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24 per hour
