Job summary

Comar in Vineland, NJ, is hiring for a packaging operator role. You will operate and monitor machines in assembly and downstream packaging, start and stop equipment, clear jams and alarms, and stage materials to ensure product quality.

You will perform quality checks, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards. The position requires a high school or Vo-Tech diploma, with 1–3 years of prior production experience preferred, and familiarity with DELMIAWorks (IQMS) is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or Vocational/Tech graduate.
• 1–3 years of experience as a production operator preferred.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and/or ISO13485 manufacturing environments.
• Basic understanding of cGMPs and Good Hygiene Personnel Practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend machines performing packaging functions (assembly and downstream packaging).
• Start machines and observe for malfunctions; report issues to supervisor.
• Clear alarms, jams, sensors, and leak detectors.
• Stage packaging materials and ensure quality of finished product.
• Perform basic inspections for acceptability and quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF guidelines and safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
