Job summary

Agropur is hiring a Dry Packaging Operator II in the United States. The role focuses on packaging products while meeting safety and quality standards.

The job offers a starting rate of $22.59/hour with two pay increases in the first year, a shift differential, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus a 401(k) match and generous PTO. Typical shift is a 2/2/3 rotation from 5:30 to 5:30, alternating days and nights.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Basic math skills and ability to input/retrieve information.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Place bags/totes on pallets.
• Fill bags/totes and ensure proper labeling.
• Seal bags/totes.
• Sustain and support automated systems.
• Clean and sanitize all parts of packaging department including walls, floors, and equipment.
• Assist coworkers with tasks and duties within the department.
• Adhere to quality system requirements.
• Follow SOPs and Master Sanitation Schedules.
• Understand and report food safety issues to management.
• Understand and troubleshoot product flows.
• Operate or monitor a Critical Control Point as determined by HACCP/Food Safety Plans.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Observe safety protocols and report hazards.
