Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Wilmer, TX, is hiring a Packaging Operator II for first shift. You will operate packaging lines, perform quality checks, and document results to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include packaging into bags/boxes, reading specs, and maintaining safety and housekeeping. Requires at least 6 months using an RF Scanner; preferred: warehouse experience and dock stocker forklift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months using an RF Scanner.
• Preferred: 6 months warehouse experience and dock stocker/order picker forklift.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package product into bags, boxes, or totes per customer specifications.
• Document quality checks and enter into the system.
• Read and disseminate information on the product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Pull product samples and test product mix against specs.
• Follow all safety, environmental and quality guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping duties around packaging equipment and in warehouse.
• Lockout/tagout of equipment when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance.
• Perform basic adjustments to operating equipment to maintain finished product conformity to specs.

Hours: 7am-3pm

Days: Monday-Friday

Pay: $18.95 per hour

Required Qualifications: A minimum of 6 months using an RF Scanner

Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 6 months working in a warehouse environment; Previous experience using a dock stocker and order picker forklift.
