Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Belleville, Michigan is hiring a Packer to safely and accurately pack customer orders for shipping. The role involves manual handling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and following strict packing procedures to ensure order accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pack customer orders ensuring the correct number and product is loaded and shipped.
• Verify that the entire order picked matches the packing slip.
• Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing manual material handling equipment.
• Repack and weigh orders that require special handling.
• Select applicable packaging for the order. Insert packaging material, construct and seal, affix label.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, neat, safe work area.

Role Purpose

Key Accountabilities

• Efficiently pack customer orders ensuring the correct number and product is loaded and shipped.
