Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Packaging Operator II in Texas. This role operates packaging lines, conducts quality checks, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. Shift is 7am-3pm, Monday–Friday, with a pay rate of $18.95 per hour.

Qualifications include at least 6 months using an RF Scanner and warehouse experience; dock stocker and order picker forklift experience are preferred. Excellent benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months using an RF Scanner.
• 6 months working in a warehouse environment; Dock stocker and order picker forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package product into bags, boxes, or totes per customer specifications.
• Document quality checks and enter into the system.
• Read and disseminate information on the product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Pull product samples and test product mix, labeling and or weight against specs.
• Follow all safety, environmental and quality guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping duties around packaging equipment and in warehouse.
• Responsible for lockout/tagout of equipment when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance.
• Perform basic adjustments to operating equipment to maintain finished product conformity to specs.
