Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Second Shift Packaging Operator II to efficiently operate packaging lines according to customer specifications and quality standards.

The role requires general PC knowledge, attention to detail, and a Right the First Time mindset. Shift is 3:30pm–12:00am, Monday–Friday, with pay of $18.10 per hour plus a $1 shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package product into bags, boxes, or totes per customer specifications.
• Document quality checks and enter into the system.
• Read and disseminate information on product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Pull product samples and test product mix, labeling and/or weight against specs.
• Follow all safety, environmental and quality guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping duties around packaging equipment and in warehouse.
• Responsible for lockout/tagout of equipment when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance.
• Perform basic adjustments to operating equipment to maintain finished product conformity to specs.
