Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a 1st shift Packaging Operator in Arlington, TX to efficiently operate packaging lines per procedures and customer specs. You will oversee associates in the packing area, ensure quality, and maintain safety standards.

The role involves reading product specifications, training new staff, pulling samples, and performing basic equipment adjustments to keep finished products within spec. Strong attention to housekeeping and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
• Ability to read and disseminate product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Commitment to safety, environmental, and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Package product into bags, boxes, or totes per customer specifications.
• Document quality checks and enter into the system.
• Read and disseminate information on the product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Assist in training new associates and cross-training backup associates.
• Pull product samples and test product mix, labeling and/or weight against specs.
• Maintain housekeeping around packaging equipment and in warehouse.
• Responsible for lockout/tagout of equipment when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance.
• Perform basic adjustments to operating equipment to maintain finished product conformity to specs.
